Benefits of outdoor training

I'm often asked what are the benefits of outdoor training and why I would recommend outdoor training. Today I would like to take some time to explain some of the pros for outdoor training.


1.Many studies have shown that activity outdoor lowers blood pressure and heart rate as a result exercise outdoors feels less difficult than indoor activity . Which of course means it will push you more and more to your limits enabling you to achieve your goals more easily .


2.Especially after the dreadful year we've had with covid everyone is itching for time outside in the fresh air. Regular exercise outdoors will of-course improve your quality of sleep as well as releasing endorphins.


3. A word the majority of us love and pine for in England SUNSHINE, When training outdoors you also enjoy the benefit of sunshine in the fresh air and natural light which of course provides you with more energy for the mind and body as well as vitamin D that we all need and most of the time lack. Sunlight lifts everyone mood and enhances your energy levels .


4. Training outdoors can be done in many ways with a friend ,on your own ,with a personal trainer like myself or in a large group .There are multiple different activities you can do while training outdoors including group activities netball, football ,golf athletics cross country go box fair kayaking rowing and the list is endless .


5. Doing the same thing day after day can get exhausting boring and repetitive change it up .Try a new workout push yourself to the make your workout different more and


All in all working out outdoors benefits the whole body joy well being and a better mood all round .
